Samsung 'S-Pad' tablet in August

According to latest report, sources said that Samsung, the electronic giant is preparing to launch its tablet PC. It seems that the company will launch the device, dubbed as S-Pad in August.

It is reported that the device will have a 7-inch Super AMOLED display and will be powered by either Windows 7 operating system or Google's Android platform.

Samsung has not officially announced anything about the device, but sources said that the new device will have USB dock, 3G connectivity, and Wi-Fi wireless capabilities, and reportedly distributed by SK Telecom. However, analysts predict that the AMOLED screen would raise the price tag of the device.

Recently, Apple has announced that it has sold more than i million iPads in one month. Even though, the device lacks Flash support and multi-tasking, the device has been remained successful in creating more demand than supply. This attracts lot of PC vendors to introduce their tablet PCs. However, HP and Microsoft had delayed their tablet programmes for unknown reasons.
