Samsung announces Galaxy Note

Samsung has recently announced the new Smart Phone in the Galaxy Series with the world's biggest display on the phone till date. The Name of the device is Samsung Galaxy Note. Samsung Galaxy Note is with a 5.3 Inch HD Super amoled display. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and features 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It has advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen that provides uniquely accurate level of control and finesse that could be used for sketching and artwork. It is just 9.65mm thick and fits comfortably in a pocket and the screen also offers a 180 degree viewing angle.
Samsung Galaxy Note has 8 MP camera with LED Flash that could record 1080p HD videos at 24~30fps and 2 MP front facing camera. The connectivity features include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with WiFi Direct, 3G HSPA+ at 21Mbps, Bluetooth v 3.0, A-GPS and NFC (optional). It has Stereo FM Radio with RDS, 150MB internal memory that is expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD and an 2,500mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Note also comes with S Planner planning tool that integrates into the phone’s To-Do list and schedule, and S Memo that is a multimedia application designed to record user-created content like pictures, voice recordings, typed text, handwritten notes or drawings. This can be converted into memo and can be edited, annotated and shared via text message, email or Samsung’s ChatON service. It also has one-step screen-capture function to capture any screen. They also plans to release the S Pen SDK to bring pen app integration to other apps.
