Ever since Sprint unveiled the HTC EVO 4G, a great many people have been eagerly awaiting the release of this high-end Android OS smartphone with WiMAX. According to a source at a national retailer, the launch is going to come early next month.
This device's high-end feature set has attracted a lot of attention, and includes a large, high-resolution touchscreen, fast processor, the 4G cellular-wireless networking and the latest version of Google's Android OS. According to an employee of Radio Shack, Sprint is going to introduce this model on or around June 6, which is in-line with an earlier report from a source at retailer Best Buy who indicated that Sprint plans to launch the EVO 4G on June 6 or June 13.
The Radio Shack employee also said that the price will be $200 with a new or renewed service contract, or $600 without one.
Those who are interested in this HTC model will reportedly be able to put in a pre-order later this month.
