Asus has launched Eee Keyboard PC`, a fully-functional PC concealed within a svelte and stylish keyboard. The EeeKeyboard PC works with any HDTV, monitor, or projector or a full-fledged PC. Asus EeeKeyboard PC (EK1542) is powered by Intel Atom N270 processor and 945GSE/ICH7-M chipset.Asus EeeKeyboard PC (EK1542) comes with a 5 inch multi-touch display with resolution of 800×480 pixels, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB or 32GB of SSD and Broadcom 70010/70012 video decoder. It’s Ultra-wideband (UWB) Wireless Display connectivity enables it to stream HD 720p videos up to a 5-meter range.
Asus EeeKeyboard PC also comes equipped with Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, HDMI out, Bluetooth V2.1, single Microphone, 2x speakers, USB 2.0 ports, VGA connector, Antenna (WAN + Ultra-wideband), Windows XP Home and a battery with 4 hours of life. It measures 145×425×10~24.4mm and weight 1.1 kg and is available in sliver color.
Asus has not announced the availability and pricing of the Asus EeeKeyboard PC.
