Sony Ericsson CyberShot S006

Sony Ericsson is so good in making smartphones, cellphones and mobiles. Most of the people know about the Sony Ericsson CyberShot series, and all Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot series comes with good camera sensor and quality as well. And now Sony Ericsson has launched the world first phone with 16.41 Megapixel camera, which is known as the Sony Ericsson CyberShot S006. Just before couple of days before, Sony announced a 16.41 Megapixel camera sensor for mobile phones, and the first phone with this extraordinary feature is Sony Ericsson CyberShot S006.Well, the high megapixels are not everything, the camera sensor should provide good light sensitivity and color to the image, and I trust Sony because they are very good in cameras. Nokia C5-03

Today, Nokia announced the latest addition to the CSeries lineup of phones-the C5-03. The C5-03 is a low priced touchscreen aimed at the masses.
The specifications of Nokia C5-03 are:

BlackBerry Torch Launched in India

RIM launched the BlackBerry Torch 9800 along with BB OS 6.0 in an event in Mumbai Yesterday.In present at the event and I have tons of hands on pics of the device coming up.
As people expected the Blackberry Torch is carrying a Price tag of Rs.35000 in India. While most might call it expensive , the target audience might not bother about it much. The company has also announced its plans for roll out of Black Berry OS 6.0 for compatible devices in India which include Bold2, Pearl 3G and Curve 3G.Will you pay 35K for a Torch that has impressive hardware , reloaded software and can do amazing email ?

Vertu Constellation Quest Announced

The Vertu Constellation Question is a candybar QWERTY phone similar to the Nokia E63, E71 and E72. But in a more luxurious and refined form.
The phone uses the best quality materials known to man and is assembled entirely by hand. This is the first QWERTY device in the Vertu lineup and the keys have been made out of stainless steel and sapphire crystal.

The metal used for the phone can be either matte or polished stainless steel or even 18k Gold depending upon the customer’s preference.
The specifications have not yet been revealed but from the images, we can conclude the following features:

• Colour Display with at least 2.36″ Size
• Camera with LED Flash
• Two Touch Sensitive Buttons Above the Display
• 3.5mm Audio Jack

It features Vertu City Brief, a location-aware mobile concierge application that offers access to information on cities across the world.

LG Optimus

LG has just announced the UK launch of their first Windows 7 phone- the Optimus 7. This is one of the first among the new series of Windows 7 phones being launched.

Dell Venue

Dell have joined in on the Windows 7 party by announcing the Dell Venue Pro smartphone powered by Microsoft’s latest offering-Windows Phone 7.
The phone looks like a candybar touchscreen phone but it’s got a trick up it’s sleeve- it’s actually a portrait slider that has a full fledged 4 row QWERTY keyboard.
The specifications are:

• 4.1″ AMOLED Capacitive Display with Multi-Touch and WVGA (800*480 pixels) Resolution
• 4 Row Portrait QWERTY Keyboard
• Gorilla Glass Display-Scratch Proof and Highly Durable

The Dell Venue Pro will be available in the US on T-Mobile during the holiday season. Pricing has not yet been revealed.

Samsung Omnia 7

Recently the Samsung announced the Samsung Omnia 7 cell phone which is based on the Windows 7 operating system. After the LG Optimus 7, Samsung have joined in the race to out their Windows 7 phone called the Omnia 7. It is Sansung’s first Windows 7 phone too.The Samsung Omnia 7 is a bit more powerful device as compared to the LG Optimus 7. The Omnia 7 is also a bit more robust. The specifications are:

Samsung Wave 575

Samsung recently announced another mid-range handset, the Samsung Wave 575. This is the sixth handset powered by Bada operating system. According to Samsung, the specs of Wave 575 is similar to the previously launched Wave 525, but the Wave 575 has support for 3G HSDPA network while Wave 525 supported only EDGE.
Samsung Wave features a 3.2 inch WQVGA TFT LCD display, Bada operating system, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, Samsung Apps support, 100MB internal memory, microSD slot, 32GB expandable memory and more.
Samsung Wave 575 will be available in three colors – Black, White and Pink. The complete specs and price of this handset is not available yet. This handset is expected to launch next month in Sweden and other European markets.

Samsung Galaxy 551

Samsung officially announced the Android powered Galaxy 551 which was showcased last month at IFA 2010. Samsung Galaxy 551 comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, 3 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity and more. This handset is targeted for business and social network users.
Samsung Galaxy 551 features a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 240×400 pixels resolution, 667MHz processor, Android 2.2 OS, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, DLNA, Bluetooth, 160MB internal memory, microSD card slot, 32GB expandable memory, DivX support, GPS, FM Radio, Social Hub and 1200mAh battery.
This handset allows you to download your favourite apps from the Android market, which has more than 80,000 apps. Samsung Galaxy 551 is expected to arrive next month in Europe. It comes with a price tag of 389 euros (approx. $540).

Motorola Dual SIM phones

Motorola has announced 2 new Dual SIM phones in India the EX115 which is QWERTY Dual SIM phone and the EX128 which is a Touchscreen Dual SIM phone.Both the phones support Quad band GSM networks with support for EDGE for Data. Other features include a 3MP camera with Video recording, Music player, Messaging & Email , 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot with support for 32GB cards.

Motorola EX115 is priced  Rs 4,990 (MRP: Rs 5,990) and offers 200 mins talktime and Motorola EX128 is priced at Rs 5,990 (MRP: Rs 6,990)  and offers 300 mins talktime . Both handsets are available at all Motorola retailers across India.

Dell Streak launched in India today

As I post earlier that Dell was planning to launch the Dell Streak Android tablet in India in October and the company seems to be on track regarding the launch.Dell is holding an event in Bangalore today where the company is launching it’s Android device.
I just heard that the price of the Dell Streak is Rs.34990 and there is a special free data download available for Tata Docomo customers.
Also Dell has confirmed that it will be updating the device which is running on Android 1.6 to Android 2.2 later this year. As you might know Dell is expected to launch mobile phones in India soon.

Panasonic Lumix

Panasonic Lumix , the makers of high quality cameras , have just revealed their new camera oriented cellphone. The device which is supposed to run on Japan’s NTT DoCoMo network. The screen on the device is a 3.3 inch LCD touch display. The phone weighs 146gms and is slightly large at 17.7mm thickness, to go along with a 116mm height and 52mm width. Local connectivity options include Bluetooth and WiFi with DLNA support.
The phone has a slider form factor and comes with a 13.2 MP camera which is said to be best in class. Color options include black, pink, blue, and gold. We are still waiting for more information about the operating system on the device.

Samsung SGH-i916

Samsung is working on 2 Windows Phone 7 powered phones (may be their working on other WP7 phones too), and they are known as the Samsung Cetus SGH-i916 and Samsung GT-i8700. You people may have seen the GT-i8700 a few days ago, and you may also have heard about the Cetus which is coming to AT&T. Our friends our at Engadget got their hands on a shot in which you can see the Samsung Cetus is head to head with the Apple iPhone 4 in the image above. There’s a little confusion, the device model number is SGH-i916, which is a little different from Cetus model number we saw, but the design of the both devices are the same.

Nokia launching Windows Phone 7 powered phone

Recently, we saw Nokia dumped Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, and picked Stephen Elop as a new President and CEO of Nokia, who was on a senior rank in Microsoft before joining Nokia. And now Venturebeat is reporting that Nokia is going to launch a Windows Phone 7 powered phone in future. May be the new CEO is now making some moves, and if he wants to do that, then he can because he is a CEO and President of the company. And at the moment, Microsoft is looking for manufactures to come and make WP7 powered phones for them so they can stay in the market strongly against Android, iOS and others, and Nokia is currently the leader in mobile market, and Nokia mobile phones are known as the most reliable phones. So if Nokia and Windows combine, then they will make a better combination.

Orange launches the San Fransisco, a budget Android phone

Mostly Android phones are expensive and not everyone can buy it, because good Android phones starts from $400. But Orange UK has launched a phone for people who are looking for a good Android phones, with a good price. Orange’s San Fransisco is an Android 2.1 powered handset, which is manufactured by ZTE and it’s for £99 ($154) pay-as-you-go. The phone features a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset, 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and MicroSD expansion. A lot of good features in a great balanced price, you should get it if you are tight on budget and looking for a good Android phone.

Blackberry Bold 9780

A lot of devices are leaked in Vietnam before their launch, Nokia E73 and iPod Touch are few of them. And now another handset is leaked in Vietnam, the Blackberry Bold 9780, which is a successor to popular handset Blackberry Bold 9700. Thanks to folks over at BGR who spotted this, there is no additional details about the handset at the moment, but I am pretty sure that it’s running Blackberry OS6. Nokia C3 Touch and Type was announced as the 2nd Touch and Type phone . It has both a touch screen and keypad and is powered by the Series 40 platform. It has a full stainless steel chassis and has interesting features including 3G, WiFi, 5 MP camera with flash, music player, FM radio and support for 32GB memory cards.
It has a 2.4 inch resistive touchscreen and the battery life boasts of 5.5 hrs of talktime and 400 odd hours of standby.The phone has access to messaging and email. Applications and Games can also be download from the Ovi Store.This phone is part of Nokia’s strategy to connect the next billion people to the internet.

Nokia C3 Touch and Type Price and Launch Date

The C3 Touch n Type carries a price tag of EUR 145 before taxes or 188 USD approx close to Rs.8800 before taxes. The phone is expected to go on sale this quarter.The phone will be available in 3 colors – Warm grey,Silver,Khaki gold.
